Frequently asked questions

Who holds my money?

Your trading account is opened directly with our broker partner. Deposits and withdrawals are processed by the broker into an account in your own name; mytestweb never holds client funds.

Can I practise first?

Yes. Every new client gets a free demo account with virtual funds, so you can learn the platform before trading with real money.

What do I need to open an account?

An email address to register. Before a live account can be funded, the broker asks for identity verification (a photo ID and a proof of address), as required by regulation.

Is trading risky?

Yes. Leveraged products such as CFDs can lose value quickly and you can lose your invested capital. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and make sure you understand how the products work.
